Responsible for creating a series of images known as frames, to simulate movement.

Their duties include working with creative professionals including storytellers, designers and voice actors to produce videos or graphics. The Video Editor-cum3D Animator is expected to create animations on economy, governance, development issues and public policy, in trendy formats that present and arrange the data and information in a coherent, concise, and engaging manner. An ideal candidate should be familiar with Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, A and versatile in public policy and economic issues. An interest in reading and general knowledge is highly essential. The candidate should also be able to write perfectly in English (or Hindi) while maintaining the highest grammatical standards. The candidate should be familiar with producing online content including for articles, blogs, content for infographics, tweets and posts. The candidate should also have expertise to write for microblogging platforms as well as long form blogs. The ability to work in a dynamic and exciting environment with strict deadlines and in a team is highly valued. Ultimately, you’ll be required to drive citizen engagement. You will be under probation for the first 3 months from the date of joining. It is not mandatory for MyGov to absorb you or offer you regular contract after the completion of the probation period. The period of probation can be reduced or increased by MyGov and shall be solely based upon your performance. After successful completion of initial contract period, regular contract will be given. A bachelor’s degree in computer animation, 3D/graphic design, fine arts or a related field

Experience:

2-7 years’ experience in animation

Roles & Responsibilities

•Conceptualizing ideas for characters, scenes, backgrounds and other animation elements • Creating character sketches for new animations based on design briefs • Developing storyboards for animation projects • Designing backgrounds, sets and other elements of the animated environment • Developing timing and pacing of motion, based on audio requirements • Working with the video editors to merge the various layers of animation • Recording dialogue for the animation, where necessary • Collaborating with other creatives including designers, writers and other animators to finalize projects • QA design for errors • Implement feedback and changes whenever possible • Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project Requirements • Proficiency in programs such as Mari, Adobe Suite, Maxon, CrazyTalk, or Autodesk Maya, FCP / Adobe Premiere • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail • Portfolio of work with a wide range of 3D animation and wireframing projects • Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills • Knowledge of animation layouts, typography, print, and web • Experience with both print and digital media • Ability to meet deadline

The all India Council for technical education has recently launched technical text books for engineering courses in Marathi. The books have been introduced after the government decided to have engineering books 11 languages to support from non English medium schools.  In 2021 AICTE has initiated the translation work to publish 218 books and the Maharashtra government recently 20 engineering books in Marathi to help students.  Harshadeep s joshi, assistant professor, Babasaheb Ambedkar technological university ,lonere, Maharashtra who was among the panel involved with the translation of engineering books in Marathi hails the initiative to be supportive students.  The target group is the students from rural Maharashtra, where Marathi is the primary language.
